Yummy!

I fear that the dog is rubbing off on Daniel.
The behavior: if it's in sight-eatin' must be right.
Here is Daniel after snacking on some dirt. On a positive note, at least the only one eating diapers in the household is still the dog.

I like it, but do you have any other pictures of Daniel eating dirt? You've used this one already. I really want to see one of the "other" stuff he eats...say in his carseat on the way to/from Minnesota was it? :)

Oh, I think I need to hear that story!

Brad posted this time, and he must not have checked below to see that the picture has already been used. He's just really annoyed with Jack eating diapers and trash. Jack got up in the middle of the night last night to make a BIG mess. We may have to bring the kennel out again!
The Minnesota story was too gross to stop and take a picture. Last summer we were driving home from MN when Brad kept smelling something. I hadn't smelled anything yet, but I did look over at Daniel after Brad kept complaining, and he was eating something. Upon further investigation, it appeared he was eating sweet potatoes, which is what he had for lunch. Unfortunately, he did not have a source of sweet potatoes and it did not smell very sweet. I soon realized that he had filled his diaper and car seat with the non-digestible part of his lunch, and was sampling that as a snack. He had it all over his face - it was DISGUSTING! We had to stop to clean up the mess - I believe it was a Harley Davidson shop. I took him in and hosed him down in the bathroom. That story is going in the baby book. :)

Sounds like the "the toilet is not a food storage device" lecture will be visiting your home soon. It's here daily. We've had to implement the "you'll ALL be spanked next time the toilet's not flushed" rule. Fortunately the last one to drink pee water was Sam. Not that that's any less gross. Enjoy life with your boy! :)

Somehow, with all the other things I, as a mother, was NOT spared - - - somehow I was spared these gross toilet incidents.
