Overheard...

Yesterday, I was listening to our dog Jack chewing on his favorte Kong toy (favorite just means that he hasn't chewed it up yet). The chewing sound is very distinct and drives my mom crazy - teeth on rubber. The only problem was that I looked up and saw Jack looking at me with those sad puppy-dog eyes, and the chewing sound continued. Upon further investigation, I found Daniel laying on his tummy right beside Jack, chewing away on the Kong. Yum.
At Thanksgiving, my brother announced that he and his new wife are expecting their first baby in July! I'm so excited that I'm going to be an aunt. Too bad I won't be able to travel to NY to see my new "neicphew" because I will be at home with my own. I guess we can't let Kevin and Tara have all the fun... I'm due a week after Tara!

Thanks, Deven! I can't link to your blog and I don't remember the direct address...maybe I'll guess. Anyone know why I can't link anymore?

Yea!!! I know of 5 new babies making their grand entrances next summer. It'll be fun shopping--hopefully for GIRL stuff! :) (OK, maybe not for you & Mo--she wants a boy--but 2 of my friends have 3 boys and really, really want a girl!) Won't life at Grandma Joan's be exciting when everyone's in town? :)

Hey, Kari (and Brad too, of course)! Congratulations! Great way to announce it...I had to re-read it a couple of times to make sure I got what you were saying. :)

Kari,

Oh my goodness, I happened upon your blog through the Hummels...and I'm so glad I did. It's crazy to see that Rachel is so grown up...it seems like yesterday when you announced you were pregnant the first time! I loved seeing the pictures...I hope you and your family are doing well! Tell Brad I said hello!
