I've finally done it...

... broken a bone, that is. I fell while playing broom ball last weekend and broke my wrist! I'm not supposed to lift any more than a pencil with that hand. How do you do that with an 18-month-old??? You move in with Mom and Dad.

On a lighter note, here are the family pics we had done at Portrayal Studios in Fairmount two weeks ago.

Your mom told me all about your wrist - - - - hubby will never tell if you are his patient. But he DID say at one point, "Kari and Brad said - - -" and I said, "Where did you see Kari and Brad?" And he said, "I can't tell." So I figured it was in the ER.

I LOVE the family picture. You ALL look fabulous in red and black!!!!

Bummer. I heard about it, but I didn't know how it happened.

The pics look great. Ditto what Keeps said.

I'm sorry to hear about your wrist, and the "pencil thing." Did you break your scaphoid?

I LOVE the pictures! You ALL look great!

OK Robin, I had to look up the term "scaphoid." I never took anatomy. :) I believe that it's the top of the radius that is broken, very near the scaphoid. It's not a bad break, so the dr let me wear a splint instead of a cast. Very nice. He's going to x-ray it again next week to be sure that I haven't done any more damage :)
