The day-to-day activities of a family of six, plus our dog, Jack, and cats, Jillyann and Callie, are recorded for your reading pleasure - though our online presence is more about Facebook these days.
Oh wow - - - we don't have a basement, but we just sat right here in our family room and watched all the weather stuff on TV.Do you think a funnel came through near you? I heard one was officially spotted in Sweetser.
We were watching on TV and they said a funnel cloud was spotted in Gas City and was moving toward us. They also said that the rotation was as bad as it gets, so we decided to head to the basement. It's quite a challenge getting 3 sleeping children and 1 cowardly dog down the basement, so we didn't want to wait until the last minute. Brad had his phone with him and was able to pull up the Doppler radar from WTHR. It was really bad, and then the storm just weakened. Woo-hoo!
Greg was in his BOAT out on Salamonie when he saw it coming - - - he also check his weather radar on his cell phone, got his boat out of the water and came home. Other's weren't that wise and got caught out on Salamonie in it.
