Our Spring Vacation

Well, it's over now, but let me tell you what fun we had! We didn't go anywhere except to my parents' house because our plumbing was backing up. However, with the WONDERFUL Florida-like temperatures for a few days, we pretended that we were on "vacation." That, combined with the fact that my parents are out of town with Rachel - yes, Keetha, Rachel is at Kim's house for the week and Kevin and Tara are joining them today - gave us an excuse to go out to eat every night like we do on vacation. Never mind that Brad was still working and I still taught my class - it was fun. I even cleaned out our van so that it looks like the "new" van it is! (When we've had it less than a year, and it was brand new when we got it203.

Anyway, my laptop won't charge, so I can't show you any fun pictures because my Memory Manager software is on the laptop! More later...

Yep, it took me a few days, but then I figured out she must have left with Mom and Dad.

I didn't realize you had to be on vacation to eat out every night. What's our excuse? Oh, that's right! We've been on vacation from SANITY and CIVILIZATION for almost 6 years! Let me clarify--English-speaking civilization. It's really, really sad when you can understand what all the Spanish signs in Wal-Mart mean but you can't speak a lick of Spanish otherwise--except to say you can't speak Spanish.

Sure, we can do lunch? I forgot about that conversation... sorry. Did we say Ivanhoes? When? I am up for whenever... except on MOPS days.
Congrats on the girl info. (I would still say congrats even if was a boy.) :-)

Speaking of SPRING and VACATION - - - - how are you enjoying our EASTER snow?????

We actually had snow last night, too! We didn't realize we were getting any until we saw it on the weather update on tv, but driving home we saw a few flakes! So much for wearing new pretty spring dresses for Easter tomorrow!

"I'm dreaming of a white Easter..." - it just doesn't have the right ring to it. I had to get a different outfit for Daniel to wear for Easter.

We're having a cold snap--kinda weird for ELP. Our temps dropped about 30 degrees overnight. Here I was feeling sorry for all of you, actually being THANKFUL for our warm weather, and what happens? Oh well. It's a taste of home.
