They offered free family portraits at church on Easter morning.  In the age of reality being PhotoShop-ed right out of our pictures, I hope this is a breath of fresh air.

Sarah - Not quite the Indiana Farm Country Girl, Yet

My mother-in-law, Joan, bought a new milk product and gave it to Daniel and Sarah for lunch.  She began to explain, "It comes from Indiana cows who are fed Indiana-grown grain.  It has no additives, preservatives, or hormones.  It naturally contains omega-3 and is very healthy milk."  Sarah began re-explaining it back to Joan, "The cows eat their food, then they pee, and it's milk!"

Joan then realized how very difficult it was trying to explain how we REALLY get the milk and to do so with a serious face.

Sarah then said (after Daniel helped explain), "Oh, those 4 things that hang down!"

The things she comes up with.

Yep there it is...

Terhune, Indiana.

Notice the name of the church.

I was here as a kid and decided to check out the town one more time. Hard to imagine, but there is even less here than before.

Wet towels on the floor...

sounds kind of mundane until you find out they are there because the kids had to wipe up their mess after trying to give themselves a bath from the water service on the front of the refrigerator.

A nice moment...

caught as Daniel and Sarah looked at the fish tank in Marion High School. We had taken lunch to Kari and this was the after dinner entertainment.
